Advance Uranium Asset Management specialises in uranium related transactions in the front end of the nuclear fuel cycle. The Company manages Westinghouse's owned uranium inventory and controls supply chain activities between enrichment and fabrication sites for utility owned inventories. UAM's commercial group procures, supplies and manages uranium transactions for utilities and other market participants and the Company boasts an integrated, class-leading transport and logistics operation, which is wholly complementary to the supply chain and commercial uranium businesses.
With headquarters in Lancashire, in England's North West region, UAM's Westinghouse affiliates also has international bases in Columbia, South Carolina, USA and Tokyo, Japan. The Company's in-depth knowledge and experience of uranium management have helped to established it as one of the world's leaders in nuclear material logistics and transportation, with considerable material assets in the areas of specialist road, rail and sea freight.

Mike Smith Managing Director Mike possesses over 30 years nuclear experience at senior manager and director level. Having gained a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Newcstle Upon Tyne, he began his career in 1978 working for BNFL at Chapelcross Nuclear Power Station in Scotland and in 1995 was appointed Station Manager. Transferring to Springfields in 2000, Mike became manager of the site's UF6 Conversion and Magnox Fuel facilities. By 2003 he had joined UAM and was named Managing Director in 2006: the year in which Westinghouse became part of the Toshiba Group. In March 2010 Mike became Managing Director of Advance UAM Ltd, the new joint venture business. |

Linda Aylmore Finance Director Linda joined BNFL HQ in a corporate finance role in 1999 and has over 11 years experience in the nuclear industry. Prior to this she worked for 13 years in a variety of commercial finance manager roles in the motor trade for Volvo and Leyland DAF. After spending 4 years at BNFL HQ on group finance and corporate assignments, she was appointed Finance Director in 2003 for a BNFL subsidiary services company, BIL Solutions Ltd. Linda joined UAM Ltd in 2006 and joined the Executive Team as Finance Director in 2007. At the same time she was appointed as a Director of all Westinghouse's UK companies. Linda is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellowship member of CIMA and a member of the Institute of Directors. |

Cheryl Collins Director, Fuel Cycle Business Cheryl has over 15 years of experience in the nuclear industry. She graduated from NC State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Post graduation, she joined DuPont's engineering team in the polymerization industry. She left DuPont to join GE Nuclear Fuel in 1994, where she was one of the primary engineers involved with implementation of the dry conversion technology at the Wilmington, NC facility. Over the years, she assumed several leadership roles in marketing, business development and managing customer accounts within GE's Nuclear Fuels division. She joined the Westinghouse team in July 2009 as the Business Development leader for the front end nuclear fuel cycle. Cheryl is responsible for identifying and growing business opportunties for Advance UAM in the areas of uranium and uranium services that complement the fuel fabrication process. |

Jim Andreen Head of Site Uranium After earning his degree in Business Administration Jim worked in commercial accounting for Coopers & Lybrand and held a number of financial management positions in manufacturing, before joining Westinghouse in 2001 in its Finance Department. He moved to UAM in 2006 after obtaining Six Sigma and Lean Black Belt certification. He is currently the Head of Site Uranium in Columbia USA, leading the efforts to manage Uranium inventories around the globe, and is also a member of the Fuel Supply Committee with the NEI. |

Angie Darkey Head of Commercial Uranium Angie joined BNFL in 1988, moving to UAM when the company was first created in 1996. By 2002, she was responsible for the management of UAM's uranium assets, and in 2003 was appointed Uranium Manager for Sweden. In 2005, Angie became Commercial Manager for Procurement and Sales and in 2008 she joined the Senior Management Team as Head of Commercial Uranium, responsible for all uranic commercial activities including procurement, sales, exchanges and new commercial opportunities. |

Megan Preston Head of Uranium Assets Megan began her career in the nuclear industry 25 years ago and joined UAM in 1999 as a Material Requirements Co-ordinator. She was appointed Contract Manager in 2003, and in 2008 became UAM's Head of Uranium Assets. For over ten years, Megan has specialised in contract and uranium asset management, including management of the supply of uranium to British Energy and Magnox Electric. She is also responsible for managing UAM's interface with Euratom and since 2006 has been a member of the Euratom Advisory Committee. |

Neil Murphy Head of Logistics Neil has 19 years experience working in the nuclear transport industry. Neil joined British Nuclear Fuels in Preston in 1991 after graduating from The University of Central Lancashire in Preston. Following his role as Contract Manager for Springfields Transport Services Neil worked in the US nuclear transport market for 4 years. In 2003 he became Commercial Transport Manager for Westinghouse UAM Ltd where he was responsible for developing an international commercial transport business. In April 2007 Neil took on the role of Head of Logistics for UAM Ltd, leading efforts to support the global logistics processes of Westinghouse Nuclear Fuels division and leading UAM Ltd's global commercial nuclear transport business. |
